Copywriting
Copywriting is writing whose purpose is to drive a specific action, such as clicking, signing up, or buying. Unlike content meant to inform or entertain, copy is engineered to persuade, using frameworks like PAS (Problem-Agitate-Solution) and AIDA (Attention-Interest-Desire-Action).
Why it matters for developers
Copy is the interface between your product and your customer’s decision. Developers who treat copywriting as fill-in-the-blank frameworks rather than mysterious art can write high-converting copy without "being a writer."
