Why These Numbers Matter

Customer Acquisition Cost

CAC is what you spend to get one paying customer. If you spend $500 on ads and get 10 customers, your CAC is $50. The lower your CAC, the faster you grow.

Lifetime Value

LTV is how much revenue one customer generates before they churn. At $29/month with 5% churn, LTV is $580. A customer who stays 20 months is worth 20x their monthly price.

⚖️

The Golden Ratio

LTV should be at least 3x CAC. Anything below 2:1 means you are losing money on every customer. Above 5:1 means you are probably under-investing in growth.
